The children will still be having PE on a Monday and drop in sessions are now on a Monday morning.
We have had a really busy week in class 1 this week! We have been exploring the story of the three little pigs. The children have been using actions to help them to produce a story map, focusing on the beginning, middle and end of the story. We then looked at the alternative tale the three little wolves and the big bad pig. The children will be planning their own alternative tales next week. In maths we have been focusing on number formation and place value. The children have been working hard to form their numbers correctly and to partition numbers into tens and ones.
Have a good weekend and I will see you all next week.
All home learning folders need to be returned to school on Monday with the completed homework. New spellings will go home on Monday and new home learning will be set on Tuesday.

Remember: The children will still need their PE kits in school on Monday as we will have PE as usual in the afternoon.
News: This week in class 1 we have been writing stories based around a picture. The children have been writing about what they think happened before the picture was taken and will be continuing their writing about what they think will happened after the picture was taken. They have really let their imagination run and the ideas have been fantastic! In their topic work the children have been looking at maps and landmarks and have produced some great work with Mrs Coope. In maths we are working on multiplication and have started to apply this knowledge to problem solving. We will be moving onto addition and subtraction next week.
Home learning: From Monday we will be collecting in reading books and reading records. Please make sure these are in school.
